In this task I had to take pictures of Jade and camouflage it with a photo human skull.
I edited the skull into the photo of Jade by layering the two images in photoshop and rubbing away the parts of the skull I didn't want.

Strand 2: Windows
You Must Stay At Home - Zoe Norfolk Living in unique and challenging times, Norfolk was keen to capture the mood and the stories of those impacted by COVID-19 in her neighbourhood of North London. During Lockdown she photographed over 80 households behind their windows, from individuals to 3 generations and those living with a disability. Each sitter was framed by a window or door mainly using an 85mm portrait lens, the reflections of each image were used to add more detail and reflect the world that had stopped outside.

The reflections are clear.
EBI: Focused more on the inside than the reflections.
In this task I had to take pictures of looking out through the window. Why- how does it link to the exam theme? It links to the exam theme because of the reflections.

www: The plant is coming out of the wall. EBI: Should've took one step back to get more of the corners in.
Development 1

Lee Friedlander
Lee Friedlander, in full Lee Norman Friedlander, (born July 14, 1934, Aberdeen, Washington, U.S.), American photographer known for his asymmetrical black-and-white pictures of the American “social landscape”—everyday people, places, and things. Friedlander took black-and-white pictures with a Leica 35-mm camera. From the start, he used reflections in shop windows, glass doors, and side-view car mirrors to complicate the viewing experience. He also incorporated street signs, doors, and windows as framing devices. Friedlander photographed them from outside a glass door, introducing another reflective surface and set of frames.
My first response
In this task I was required to photograph pictures of reflections on windows.

WWW: I was able to take the pictures with reflections. EBI: Next time I should make sure that the reflections aren't blurry.
Second response
For my next set I photographed shop windows in Muswell hill. What had you learnt from the last set of images? What lighting conditions give you the best results. What I learnt from my last set of images is that the images are not blurry so you can see the reflections clearly. The best lighting conditions that I could've used for the best results is soft lighting because the images is dark so it could've made it a it lighter.

WWW: I manage to focus my images very well. You can't always say this. What's good about these images in relation to the development of your idea? What's good about these images in relation to the development of my idea is that the reflections are shown clearly.
EBI: Next time I should use a higher ISO because the pictures is a bit dark.
Development 3
Explain this change of direction. Why have you gone from reflections in windows to double exposures. I have gone from window reflections to double exposure because I wanted to try something different and I wanted to try something with a surreal feeling, and mirror images that tell a story.
Jasper James
Most of the silhouette images Jasper James creates are shot in Tokyo, Japan and Shenzhen, China. The overviews of the city life reflect interesting layers of construction and open narratives through silhouetted onlookers. James begins by finding an ideal vantage point in the city, takes a photograph and then finds a local resident via the travel website Couch surfing and photographs them, combining the two images together.
My Response
My first response using images from the internet. I layered the photo of the trees over the portrait then adjusted the transparency to show both images.
In this task I was required to take pictures of my mum and what she likes so that I could layer them together. My mum likes to watch religious programs on TV. She goes to the Holy Innocents Church in Crouch End.

WWW: I was able to put pictures of what my mum likes over her. EBI: Next time I should try it with religious items.
Development 4
My favourite strand is the reflections in the shop windows. For my next set I am going to photograph shop windows with reflections in them in Covent Garden. Why have you returned to the shop window reflections? Why have you not built on the double exposures? I have returned to the shop windows reflections because I like the how the reflections are shining through the shop windows and how you can see the both of the inside of the shop and reflections from the outside.

WWW: The reflections is captured nicely through the windows. What lighting conditions led to these excellent reflections? The lighting conditions I used to get this reflections is that I set up the ISO correctly and went to take them during the day time when the sun was still out. Development 7
What did you learn from the last set of images that you aimed to capture in this next set? What I learned to capture that I didn't do my last set is that I captured both reflections and mannequins.
You need to explain the idea of layering headlines with the images here. What is the reason behind it? Many of us can't afford to buy luxury goods in the current living crisis? Temptation? The idea of me layering headlines with images is that many of us can't afford to buy luxury goods in the living crisis because they have no money or jobs so the idea of me putting headlines on the photos is to advertise that we need to start helping people that is struggling the most and that is unfortunate to buy food, clothes etc.
Final Pieces
You need to screen grab your process. You should also make more 'final pieces' using some earlier shop window images. You have used the same shop window twice.
